HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. The Licensing Bill was again brought forward on Tuesday, At Clause 3, which eliminates the reduction issue from the local option voting papers, Mr McNab moved an amendment, the effect of which would be to restore the reduction issue. A long discussion ensued, Messrs Seddon and Taylor being the chief speakers. Finally Mr McNab’s amendment was pan and carried by 38 votes to' 34. Mr Vile voted with the majority.'
