The Pahiatuza Seat.

MR T. L. BUICK THE GOVERNMENT CANDIDATE, The Premier on Tuesday gave notice that next day he would move that the Speaker be directed to issue' his warrant to the Clerk of Writs to issue a writ for the Pahiatua election. A meeting of delegates was held at Pahiatua on Tuesday afternoon to select 5 candidate to stand in the Government interest. Mr T. L. Buick, ex-M.H.R., now part proprietor of the “ Dannevirke Advocate,” was chosen. Mr Buick resides in the Waipawa electorate, Mr W. W. McCardle, of the Auckland district, was runner-up in the ballot.
