WHOLESALE EXECUTIONS DENIED. A semi-official announcement in St. Petersburg contradicts the Standard’s allegations about the wholesale ext?cufcions at Warsaw and Moscow. Paris newspapers report that Prince Dolgourouke has been arrested for assaulting Count Lamsdorff, Minister for War. The latter is unpopular in Russia for not informing Admiral Alexieff that negotiations with Japan had been broken off.
