A Sensational Story.

GIRL RESTORED TO HER PARENTS. The Press yesterday morning published a long and sensational story about a girl, aged 15 years, who, after living in Christchurch nearly all her life, was restored to her true parents, who are wealthy residents of Fremantle. Ever since the child disappeared the parents have unsuccessfully endeavoured to find in whose possession she was, but although they knew she was living in Christchurch the guardian of the child became suspicious and kept a very strict eye on her. Eventually the parents learned where she was living and

communicated with a nected with the Sunday school th© girl attended. Careful arrangements to get the girl away were made by her friends and one morning, instead of going to work as usual, she caught the express to Dunedin in order to join the boat for Melbourne. ■ At the Bluff she received a telegram from her late guardian saying she was to return at once, and at Hobart another plan to detain her was miscarried. At last she reached her parents at Premantle. It appears that when the child was an infant the mother was forced by circumstances to leave her at Hobart with a woman in whose house she was staying. The woman became attached to the infant and disappeared, taking the child with her.
