A New Invention.

To this end ho is erecting a gigantic transmitting tower at Wardcncliff, Long Island. In an interview, Mr Tesla acknowT dges his indebtedness to the “ noble generosity of J. Pierpont Morgan, who, when others did nothing but doubt, enabled iiim to put the system in operation.” Mr Tesla says that discoveries made in Colorado showed him that the earth is a conductor of limited dimensions, and that it is possible to impress upon the whole globe the faint modulations of the human voice. Having determined these facts, Mr Tesla says he set him-self-to work to develop a magnifying transmitter which should make the modulations louder and stronger.
