MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSIONS AT PORT ARTHUR. The despatch boat Fawan reports that when passing Port Arthur, on Wednesday morning, she heard six heavy explosions, suggesting that the Russians were destroying their ships and docks. Replying to Russian diplomats suggestions regarding China's warlike attitude, Britain and America have expressed a hope that Russia will respect Chinese neutrality in Manchuria. The Japanese, on Monday, captured Kaicban, alias Kaiping, and advanced on Teschichio, driving fifteen hundred Russians before them. After destroying several miles of way the Japanese re-embarked at Kaicban and proceeded southwards.
