MYSTERIOUS EXPLOSIONS AT PORT ARTHUR. The despatch boat Fawan reports that when passing Port Arthur, on Wednesday morning, she heard six heavy explosions, suggesting that the Russians were destroying their ships and docks. After destroying several miles of way the Japanese re-embarked at Kaicban and proceeded southwards.
