A Sydney Solicitor’s Death.

HEAVY LIFE POLICIES

Mr Walter Lindsay Thompson, a prominent city solicitor, was found fatally shot in his office. His death is aupp osed to be accidental. Deceased’s life was insured for £25,000, including £IOOO in the New Zealand Accident Insurance Company. A large portion of the total was arranged for within the past year, £7OOO since January last. A Coroner’s inquiry was opened and postponed at the request of the insurance companies interested, pending a post-mortem examination.
