Wellington Wool and Skin Sales.
Messrs Levin & Go’s Report. We offered to-day 30 bales of wool and 1800 skins and a quantity of hides and tallow. The wool sold at prices fully to the high prices established at the sale in March. Skins were in strong demand. We quote ■ Skins: Merino, 6id to 7cl; halfbreds, 6d to s£d to 6d ; coarse, 5d to s|d ; short wools, 4£d to 4|d ; dead, 2|d to 4d. Hides: There was a better selection than usual and well saved. Ox hides reached 25s 6d, and cow hides 17s 6d. Tallow: Good mixed, 20s to 20s 6d; station fat, 17s to 18s; rough fat, 13s to 14s.
