The local school closed for the Easter holidays yesterday afternoon with the usual formalities. Cheers oi the usual hearty description were then given for the flag, the king, the chairman of the committee, the headmaster and his assistants, and “ our noble selves.” The inspiring function ended with the first verse of the National Anthem, sung in excellent style by the children, under the leadership of Miss McDonogh, mistfess.
