Collision at Sea.

SUBMARINE BOAT SUNK.

CREW DROWNED

The Union liner Warwick Castle collided with and sunk the submarine boat A. 1., off a light vessel, Isle of Wight. Lieut. Mansergh, Sub-Lieut, J. P. Churchill, and nine others were drowned.

The A.L was much larger than the earlier type and less easily managed, not sinking with sufficient rapidity. The King and the Prince of Wales on a recent visit to Portsmouth paid a visit to the vessel.
