Sports and Picnic Club.

A Committee meeting of the above club was held last evening at the Manawatu Hotel. There was a good attendance and Mr H. B. Siggs was voted to the chair. The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. A donation of £2 2s was gratefully acknowledged from Mr Levett. It was decided to arrange with Mr Dahl for the use of one of his large tents on Sports day. Mr Noonan was deputed to superintend the children’s sports. Members of the Committee were told off to wait on those who had promised to supply refreshments on Wednesday afternoon.
