At Shannon on Tuesday we had a very full entry. All classes of sheep sold freely at lower values in sympathy with the large Centres, but with few exceptions the whole of the entry was disposed of. Quotations: Shannon Store wethers ns nd, store ewes 7s gd to 8s 6d, lambs 5s 46, 5s gd, 8s 8s id, gs to ios, ißmos steers £3 10s to £3 ns, store cows £3 17s to £4 12s 6d, heifers in calf £3 10s to £4 3s, yearling heifers £2 4s, do steers £3 3s to £3 ss. weaners 39s to 31s;

At Palmerston, on Thursday, a good yarding of both sheep and cattle came forward. There was a large attendance and bidding was biisk for all classes of stock. Lambs for rape met a ready sale, and made up to 8s sd, Fat and forward wethers 13s yd to 13s Sd, fat ewes ns gd, forward ewes ns, fat and forward lambs 10s, store lambs 6s xod to 7s, cull lambs 4s ad, forward lambs gs 6d to 8s 3d.
