Murder and Suicide.
SOUNDS OF A TRAGEDY BY TELEPHONE. A bar-keeler named Garfield, at Minneapolis, telephoned to a friend, and said, “ Listen, and you will hear something.” A woman’s shriek and revolver shots were heard by the listener at the instrument. Garfield had killed his wife and then suicided.
