Rifle Club Meeting.
A meeting of all those interested in forming a Rifle Club in Foxton was held at Mr Haywood’s Hotel last evening (Mr 0. E. Austin in the chair.) An apology was read from M Stiles, who also expressed a deshv to become a member of the club. Proposed by Mr Bradcock, se conded by Mr Rand,, 'hat the rifle club ibis meeting pr poses to form be a private rifle c.’ub,—Carried. Propomo by Mr Ball, seconded by Mr Morgan, That a committee con-isdug of Messrs Nye, Rand, Newth, Bradcock, 0. Austin, Walsh and th < prop sm be formed to draft out rules for the M ib, aud that this committee only act pro. tem.; also that the rules he> submitted to the next meeting for approval. —Carried.
