Obituary.
DEATH OF MRS JAMES WALKER. We much regret to learn that Mrs James Walker, who has been a long and patient sufferer tor many years with an internal complaint died at her residence, Whyte-street, last night at half-past ten o’clock. The late Mrs Walker was born at Rainford, and was married at St. Helens, England, 26 years ago. On the death of her husband, and being afflicted with her complaint, the doctors advised her leaving for New Zealand, and she arrived in the eolony in October, iloi, •vemtnally taking up her residence in Fatten, where she has lived ever •butt. A week ego her illaest had become of eo serious a nature that the family catted In Dr Graham, who hes attended the defeated lady up till her death. The late Mr« Walker leaves four daughters, for whom much sympathy will be felt, and who are all residents in Foxton, They are Mrs M. H. Walker, Mrs C. Collins, junr., Mrs W. Owen, and Miss Margaret Walker. Walker was well acquainted with (Pjme Premier's family in St. Helens, many years ago. The funeral will leave her late residence, Whyte-street, to-morrow afternoon for the Foxton Cemetery.
