Escaped Prisoners.
Fifteen prisoners, after'killing two gaolers, broke out of gaol at Folsom, California, and escaped to the woods. The Sheriff’s troops chased them, killing two, and ultimately surrounded the others. They are using Gatlings on the convicts, who are hoiding 'out, but are expected to surrender.
