(Before A. Greenfield, Esq., S.M.) Thursday, 28bd July. CRIMINAL. Police v. Perawiti te Puke.—Two charges were heard of being on licensed premises, being a prohibited person, and for procuring liquor. Fined 20s on each charge, costs 14s. William John Crichton and Fred. Prankland Godfrey were, charged with same offences, being prohibited persons, and were each fined 20a on tub Charge ooit* Ui,
Albert Wong Lee was charged with using obscene language in a public place, and was fined 80s and costs 7s. The case of Richard Walden, for assaulting Thomas Mitchell, was dismissed. -Jk omt. Judgment by default was given in the following oases A. R. Osborne v. Paora.—Claim £4, c sts 10s. E. P. Osborne v. Alex. Claim £3 10s, Costs fii. R. T. Betty v. Alfred Morgan.— Claim £ll9s, costs ss. T. Westwood v. N. B. Reid.— Claim £7 Is fid, costs and fee, £1 8s fid. In the case of 0. Cook v. A. Cook, plaintiff was non-suited. Mr Hankins appeared for defendant, and Mr Innes for plaintiff. 0. T. Easton v. Waites Strang.— Claim £6O. Adjourned to Palmerston Court on 28th July.
