Murder of a Child.
Twoyoutha named Glanfisld and Harvey have been remanded on a charge of murdering an illegitimate infant, whereof Glanfield is alleged to be' the falter, ifbose .body was found in a creek in a box. The mother of the child told the police that the accused took the child from her and placed it in a box, stating that they were going to put it away, quietly. She asked them not to hurt it. They left her, and when they came back they said the thing hadbuindone. The youths signed: a full confession, admitting the . mother's statement, but blaming eaoh other.
