The Correspondent of The Times.

M, de Plehve, Russian Minister of the Interior, has informed fur Charles Scott, British Ambassador at St. j?etersburg, that “ The Titties ” correspondent was expelled because the tone of his correspondence and the attitude of “ The Times ” generally had been hostile. The Minister farther added that he Was aware that his action avould provoke a great outburst against Russia, but he was determined to teach “ The Times ” a lesson.
