A Destructive Earthquake.
An earthquake recently destroyed the town- of Melazgerd, in the village of Van, Turkish Armenia, killing two' thousand persons, including seven hundred Ameniaas and the garrison.. Four hundred houses in the neighbouring villages collapsed.' There were large losses of cattle. A severe shock was also felt in Constantinople on Tuesday.
