The School Cadets.
The committee of management in connection with the Foxton School met last night at Gray’s Hotel to receive the report and balance sheet. The concert, especially the pecuniary Eortion, was a ,<?reat success, there eiag a net profit "of £ts 18s gd. The following balance-sheet was read: Credits—To takings at door, £8 xas; tickets sold at school, £3 16s; other tickets sold, £7 xos 6d; total, £l9 18s 6d. Expenses—Printing, £2 163; Westwood and Co., 4s gd: Mrs Gray (hall rent), £x is; town hall, £1 10s ; carting, 5s ; P. Robinson, 3s ; balance |a hand. £l3 xßs g<3- Total, £l9 xßs 6d. (Confirmed), W. S. Stewart, Chairman. R, Noonaa, School Cadets. A hearty vote of thanks to the several ladies and gentlemen who took part in the concert, and a special vote to Miss Garbes was passed unanimously.
