Reuter’s agency has affirmed that the Intercolonial Customs Union, which has just closed its sittings at Bloemfontein, agreed to a preferential reduction on goods from Britain and reciprocating colonies of 25 per cent, advalorem. It was also arranged for special preferential tariff on machinery.
