—+ —- The Polo Tournament at Hastings, opened on Saturday. The weather was fine and bright, with a nice cool breeze. The attendance was limited. The ball was opened by a Savi{e Cup match between’ Rahgitikei and Mangaheia. Rangitikei 3, Mangaheia 1. The next match was between Mana» watu B. and Hawke’s Bay B. teams. The game, ended, Manawatu 8, Hawke’s uay 3' , , , Yesterday Manawatu beat Hawke s Bay, the scores being 6 to 4 Mangaheia beat Hawke’s Bay. B tor the Handicap Cup by one goal after a stubborn fight.
