Imperial Consols.
The decline of cons ds to ,£9O 3s 9d is attributed to, besides the automatic reduction in the late of interest, an expectation of the Transvaal loan yielding 3 per cent, and to sales by holders, largely Americans and others, abroad, who purchased at 90 on the eve of the declaration of peace. Consols are also affected by the prospective financial requirements of the Irish Land Bill, which provides for advances amounting to £12,000,000.
