Outrage by Larrikins.
A gang of krrikins, resenting the action of a oonstable named Bartlett in taking up his residence in the street they frequented in Brunswick, a suburb of Melbourne, proceeded to his house, armed with crowbars and bricks.
Constable Bartlett was standing at his crate, when one of the moh'hurled a bricK in his face, fracturing his skull in two places. Ho is m a critical condition.
A youth named Stubbledy has been arrested.
