IMMIGRATION. The Transvaal proposes to expend £15,000 yearly on female immigration, assisting each immigrant to the extent of £5. Lord Milner states that the majority of the Transvaal breeding stocks Will probably come from Australia, the United States and the Argentine, where the natural conditions are fittest. The pacific appeals by Mr Hofmeyr to the Bond have been gazetted.
