The' British Navy.
The Admiralty had announced that in May the command of the Home fleet is to be divorced from command of the Naval Reserves and from Admiralty office work. The Admiral who is Superintendent of Naval Reserves _ (Sir Gerald Noel), will correspondingly cease to act as Admiral in command of the Home fleet, Vice-Admiral Ernest Rice will command the Coastguard and Reserves. It is expected that the Home fleet will be reconstructed and strengthened as a step towards solving the North Sea squadron problem.
