Montgomery’s Entertainers.
This popular Company will appear in the Public Hall, to-night, Thursday, February I.2th, with the grand, pathetic and musical production “East Lynne.” On this occasion the management promise ; something eclipsing all previous efforts. Montgomery spares no expense bring round the greatest productions * of the civilised world. The Sydney Bulletin says of Montgomery’s Show, that it is “ a bright and sparkling show of the highest excellence, and one of the best night’s amusement given in Sydney.” Mr Edmund Montgomery, the London ballad singer, who heads the Company, will appear in beautiful illustrated story ballads, etc. There is a strong Company, including Bob Hall, Edgar Bontly, Tom Shaw-Valentine (a new member), and Miss Francis Beverley. The Sydney Morning Herald voiced the opinion of the theatre-going public when it said during the Company’s season in Sydney, that “Montgomery’s name is sufficient guarantee fpr a real sterling night's amusement.”
