The Majeroni Dramatic Company
On Tuesday and Wednesday evenings the Majeroni Dramatic Company have-performed to most appreciative audiences at the Public Hall. The company staged two pieces “ Brother against Brother” and “A Ring of Iron,” both plays being most, realistic and mounted in first-rate style. The thanks of the Foxton people are due to Mr MkcMahon, under whose direction the company are appearing in New Zealand, for bringing along such a powerful company, and among their number some of the best artistes. Their second performance was attended by even a larger audience than their first, showing that the company had gained io popularity. The company were prevented from showing at their best, owing to the inadequate room on the stage, soma of their scenery consequently, it was Impossible to use. It is the intention of the management to perform here for one night only at an early date, before leaving New Zealand, and we recommend everyone not to miss the opportunity of seeing them. The company is without doubt the best that has yet paid Foxton a visit.
