The marble arcb erected at Senanning, the spot in Pekin where Baron von Ketteler, the German Minister to China, was murdered in June, 1900, was unveiled on Monday. Baron Yon de Galtz, German Charge d’Aftaires, in replying, emphasised the Emperor of China’s fulfilment of the pledge that he would perpetuate his friendship for the foreign Governments, German troops marched under the arch.
