ENGLISHMEN v. MANAWATU.
The two day's match at, Palmerston resulted in an overpowering victory for the Englishmen, who defeated the local men by an innings and 130 runs. Manawatu playing 18 men made 105 for the first innings, and 177 in the second.
The Englishmen closed their innings for 307 runs, not using aff their batting power. '
