The Doukhobors.

During a snowstorm at Foxwarren the Doukhobors slept in a grove of alder bushes. Their sufferings were terrible, their only Covering being cotton clothes. Many of them contracted pneumonia. Their food consisted of wild berries and raw wheat. They fought for food which was given to them by the wayside. They have continued their inarch to Winnipeg, refusing to listen to arguments or advice. The Manitoba officials are entraining the Doukhobor women and children back to their villages.
