Kruger’s Memoirs.

The Times has published the second instalment of Mr Kruger’s

memoirs. The ex-President accuses the 'late Right Hon. Cecil Rhodes of lying, bribery, and treachery. He refers to Lord Milner as a typical Jingo, autocratic beyond endurance and declared that Messrs Chamberlain and Rhodes were accomplices in the Jameson raid. The Times, in commenting on the memoirs, enlarges on the historical and other Inaccuracies contained in them. It says they prove that the negotiations which preceded the declaration of war were bound to fail, and that war was inevitable.
