South Africa.
An order which has been issued by Sir Gordon Sprigg (Premier of Cape Colony), at the instance of the Afrikander Bond, disbanding all the Town Guards, has caused strong resentment and indignation amongst loyalists. A Department of Agriculture has been established in the Transvaal to cope with disease in horses and also with the restocking of the land.
