New Warships.
The Admiralty has invited tenders from the Clyde shipbuilders for a first-class cruiser of the new Edinburgh class, with more powerful guns than those of the County class. A duplicate will be shortly built at a Government dockyard. ■ There are also tenders invited f< r two second-class 10,000 horse-power cruisers of 8000 tons.
