Bank Frauds.
Six foreigners, chiefly Russian, have been arrested with forged Bank of England notes of the face value £13,500 in their possession, and are charged with uttering the same. The police expended £IO,OOO in securing their arrest. The notes were printed in Italy on paper prepared by Englishmen in Spain. The deception is sp'vgpod that several banka accepted them.
