Coronation Syndicate.
We beg to inform our reader? that the Coronation Syndicate u- end showing, by means of the latest machinery, pictures pertaining to the coronation of Edward VII. By Wellington Press reports, the show is well worth seeing, and should be greeted with packed houses here. The Free Lance says:—“The excellent series, of animated pictures showing the chief events of King Edward has been attracting packed houses to the Opeia House during the week, and from an educational "point of view alone the show, is well worth patronising. A hush of expectancy is caused when it is known that the N.Z. Premier’s carriage is coming along. The grand state coach was most imposing with its elaborate ornamentations and exquisit satin lining, Drawn by eight cream coloured ponies. The N.Z. Contingent is plainly seen. Many celebrities are easily recognisable. The alert Roberts and the dour Kitchener are treated to as great an ovation as if they were not mere films.
