A Fiendish Murder.
TISLER AND MRS SANGAL SEN' TENDED TO DEATH.
Tisler and Mrs Sangal have been sentenced to death at Melbourne for the murder of the latter's husband.
The Judge characterised the crime as coldblooded in humanity! fiendish in cruelty, and horrible and relentless in treachery.
K The jury recommended Mrs Bengal to mercy on account of Tisler’a influence.
TISLER’S CONFESSION.
When arrested, Tisler alleged that ho bad hod illicit relations with Mrs “angal for the past twelve mouths, and that she pestered him into killing her husband by constantly declaring that her life w as miserable with him. It was arranged that Tisler should come on the night of the murder, and that the woman showed a light in the window whoa
iieir husband. was asleep. She admitted Tieler to the bedroom, and «tood at the do r watching, while he beat her husband to'death in his sleep. 'She then assisted to throw the body into the well, cleaned up the blood, and then concocted the story of suicide. She gave Tiler £2 when leaving, and it was arranged | that he should return and live with her,
