Meat Famine.
A meat famine prevails in Germany. There is a widespread demand that the importation of foreign cattle should be allowed, bat Minister* .refuse, on the ground that the agrarian “ ring ” can supply all needs. Great dissatisfaction is expressed at the refusal. * Poor people in Saxony are slaughtering dogs for food.
