In this issue we insert the programme of the Foxton Athletic Club’s Sports to be held on November xoth. It will be seen that the sum given away in cash and trophies is an advance of £lO on last years programme. The programme shows that that it has been carefully worked out and the club has catered for all classes of Athletics including three amatuer events which is new in Foxton, and it is to be hoped that the amatuers will avail themselves .of this opportunity of securing the valuable trophies given. We think the club deserve every congratulation and assistance, considering it is just in its infancy, it being its second annual gathering. A meeting of the club is convened for Tuesday night at the Post Office Hotel, to consider train arrangements,
