THE MILITARY CALLED OUT, Disturbances have occurred in con* sequence of the closing of schools in the Department of Finistere, in Brittany.

A battalion of infantry and a large force of gendarmes are proceeding to the neighbourhood. Admiral Cuverill has appealed to the Government to submit President Loubet’s Religious Associations decrees to the Council of the States.

Meanwhile the Judgment of the Lyons Court of Appeal declares the fixing of seals on the Convent School of St. Charles illegal, and orders their removal.
