Mr Kruger’s Followers.
The “ Daily Telegraph ” states that owing to the opposition of Generals Botha, De Wet and De la Rey, the proposed conference of Boer leaders has been abandoned; also the scheme for the formation of an irreconcilable party. Me Kruger and his followers hope thus to conciliate Great Britain and strengthen their chance of returning to South Africa.
