The Late Mr H. Gower.

Owing to not publishing on Saturday we issued an extra on Friday morning announcing the death of the late Mr Harry Gower as having occurred early that morning at the residence of his cousin Mr Bernard Gower.

The deceased had been suffering for a long time and his death must have been a happy release. The deceased has been married some ten years to his cousin, a sister of Mr B. Gower, and leaves the widow and two young daughters to mourn his loss. The deceased was 33 years of age and came to this colony many years ago on a visit to his uncle Mr J. W. Gower, on account of his health, and has resided on this coast since.

, The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon the service being read by the Rev. H. Wilson. There were a number ot friends and neighbours in spite of the bitter weather.
