Mr H. C. Sloley, Resident Commissioner of Basutoland, declares declares that tha case of the chief Joel is not complicated. The trial of Joel for treason has •been concluded at Molapo,’ and he has been sentenced to a year’s imprisonment and a lino of five hundred cattle. Tha chief Lerothodi accompanied him to prison.
