Mr Hamer was. aroused by Mrs Cook and thongk immediately jumped up and rang the firebell. We learn that everything*. ■, . was lost, as though the bell abused i few most knew nothing about the m fire till next morning. It is a serious matter to lose every* thing, and the leaving 'was so quick that none of the dwellers left with much else on but their night clothes. Amongst tho furniture lost a valuable piano, whicn known as it has beep kindly lent for the best of concerts, Ifi fact : ii wal so last used on Thursday at the Church concert.
