The Amelia Sima.
The schooner Amelia Sims, 98 tons, Captain Gibson, left Lyttelton on the 10th inst., with a light westerly breeze. Rounded Cape Campbell on the nth, wite fresh breeze from north-west. At 10 p.m. sighted Queen Charlotte Sounds, and went into Cloudy Bay for shelter. On Saturday, 17th, at 3 a.m. the centre-board was carried away, a living gale was blowing and the ship was making a good deal of water. At 11 a.m. dropped anchor at Guard Bank. On Sunday at 4 a.m. sighted Kapiti, and at 9 a.m. sighted flagstaff- At 9.30 a.m. took the bar, and arrived at wharf at 11 a.m-, pump constantly working.
