(Before A. Greenfield, Esq., S.M.) Thursday, 15th May. CRIMINAL. Police v. Claude Allen, assault. The defendant was convicted ana discharged. The Magistrate warned him that if he came up again he would be severely dealt with. Police v. Corkery and Duggan, working on Sunday (carting fibre into the mill). . Mr Moore appeared for the defendants, and admitted that defendants worked, but it was a work of necessity. i Fined Is, and costs 7s each. CIVIL CASKS. Meatyard v. Eori Eangiheua. — Claim £ll 9s. Judgment by default for amount and £1 18s costs. S. Messena v. S. Eountree.— Claim £2. Judgment for amount claimed with 11s costs. J. Wyeth v. Mason.—Claim £6. Judgment by default for amount with £1 4s 6d costs.
