Farm Products’ Prospects.
ADTIOB TO FARMERS.
be Gazette in a recent issue provides interesting study. It is shown that the areas of wheat, oats, barley and maize now under cultivation are less by, many thousands of acres than those cultivated with these products last year. The acreage, however, taken up by potatoes, linseed, peas, mangels and beans is considerably increased. The alteration, we are convinced, is merely a financial one. There is no doubt whatever that a farmer can secure the best returns by a combina tion of the products mentioned. One very successful farmer is Mr John Allemann, of Inglewood, near Mount Egmont. In a recent inverview he gave some interesting particulars concerning his operations. When first come upon he was busy with his family cutting and stacking chaff, despite his seventy years of ago. “But farming is rough work,” said he, “ owing to exposure to cold and wet, my operations, ten years ago, were somewhat interrupted. Acute rheuma tic pains came
in my fleck, arms, hack . ft»d legs. MJf: muscle* ware contracted and I scarcely move. At times tha agony was terrible, and none of the remedies I tried pave me permanent relief. More than one doctor treated m«, but I was not cured, and ea a last resource^l was seat to Kotorua Hot Springs ; but there, sad to. relate, I obtained only temporary relief. It was after my return that I heard of the efficacy of Dr Williams’ pink pills for pals people in oases of rheumatism; then an Inglewood storekeeper also advised no to .try and ! did so. After having suffered for years from this terrible complaint I. was surprised and pleased to notice the lessening when I had been using Dr Williams’ pink pills for a few days. First, the pain left my neck, and then the muscles and joints. It took several hexes to cure me, but now I am in perfect health, and, despite my age, I, do all kinds of work about the farm without ill-effect. That my recovery is due solely to Dr Williams s pink pills for pale people I am positive. It is interesting to note that there have been more cases of rheumatism cured by Dr Williams’ pink pills than any other disorders, except, perhaps, anaemia: botn arise from impure blood. These pill* are Pennine only with the full name Dr Williams’ pink pills for pale people. They are, hold by chemists and storekeepers, and by - the Dr Williams’ Medicine 00., Wellington, three shillings par box, six boxes sixteen and six, pest free. They act Directly on the b"ood and nerves, and thus it is they are so famous for the cure of paralysis, scrofula, neuralgia, sciatica, lumbago, influenza, bronchitis, and even consumption when the patient is not teo far gone.
