FEILDING JOCKEY CLUB. The Easter Meeting of the above Club opened on Monday with the best of weather, and a record attendance. Special traim from Hawke’s Bay, Wanganui, Palmerston and Foxtoa being crowded. The fields were large and the racing good. Mr Ed. Goodbehere, the secretary, was courteous and ooliging to everybody. The totalisator receipts were far in excess of any other meeting. The sum put through the first day last year being £7,908 —this year £10,763— an increase of nearly £3,000.
