The Persian Gulf.
TURKISH TROOPS AND RUSSIAN RIFLES. . , Great Britain, has strongly protested to the Porte against tha continual encroachment of Turkish troops in the Koweyt district, at tha head of the Persian Gulf. The “ Times of India” states that the residents at Bandar Abbas, on the Persian Gulf, assert that the Russian steamer Korniloff has landed 60,000 rifles.
